Another storm last night...

Woke to freezing rain

hitting the bedroom 

windows.

The snow is up to Hank's chest

and he has long legs!

A little dog yoga.

Hey Mom, how do I get to the yard?

After the snow plow comes, 

the snow really is built up!!!

The snow was very wet and heavy along

with an icy top layer.  David was very 

helpful, shoveling the deck and 

racking the roof!

Hank and Benny love a snow day!!!

Lovely day, sun is shining 

and Hank is a happy boy!

The trees still look so pretty,

but it is dangerous.

Hope some of the snow melts

as we have another storm

coming in tonight...

Most of the snow on the roof

has melted.  Spent time outside

while Al did a little clean-up.

Nice just to be out!

That is a bit of a rose bush

peeking through...

Made a stir fry using

the Garlic Chili Sauce

my friend Marisa gave me.

Nice flavor, you can taste the heat.

Snow again...

Heavy, wet snow.

Looks so pretty on the trees,

but this is dangerous snow.

Branches can brake from 

the heavy snow.

The snow continues all day!

Al and Hank shoveled the deck.

Hank and Benny had a wonderful

Snow Day!

They run and play hard!!!

The snow gets deeper and deeper,

About 7 inches...

David went to work, but came home 

early.  After finishing his work from home,

David and Hank raked the roof.

So lucky to have such great helpers.

Especially, since I can't do any work

still.  Stitches out, but still can't lift...

Hank's legs are getting shorter...

Not easy work!!!

Woke-up to a foggy morning.

But, expecting to be above 

freezing today, oh

the things we are happy about!

David and I took a ride

to the beach.  It had 

been a long time for

both of us,

how we love our beach!!!

Pretty every season!

Ice floating in the water, interesting.

Next Saturday is my quilt guild meeting.

This is my block for our monthly bee,

a wonky, spring log cabin.

I have decided to make the seasonal

star quilt.  This is January.

This is March.

I will put the white around 

the blocks all at the same time.

Goes much quicker that way.

Lots of fun finding fabric

for each block, mostly 

from my stash.

me this Chili Garlic Sauce.
