We haven't yet had the 2012
Project Return Bird House Auction.

The snow melted quickly.
Hank with his bone, keeping him busy, so
he doesn't dig holes.

Day 55, February 24, 2012

Yesterday, we hit an amazing 60 degrees.
Today, we wake up to snow.
It has been a crazy winter,
but not complaining!!!

Hank loves to wake up to snow!
He bolted out the front door and spent
most of the day playing outside.

Yes, Hank is still digging.
So, we got some things to
keep the boy busy!
He seems to be a sweet tooth,
so he is enjoying his new diet,
sweet potato seems to do it for him!

Happy Birthday Anita Langer, my Mother-in-law.
Artist, Jacqueline Knell, who exhibits at the Square I Gallery in Claremont, CA is doing a project involving nine 8x8 portraits of the Hadassah women from Anita's Group to present at a southern California event in late March in Long Beach, CA.  We can't wait to see the finished project. 
 Anita said the project was such fun.

Al, David and I went to Chip's,
Three year running, best pancake in CT!
One of those places you have to try.
Yummy, and then on to the movies to see
"Safe House."  Fun afternoon, followed by
a dinner visit from Michael.

Day 49, February 18, 2012

Today was "freedom" day for Hank.
The collar was removed and he was
free to run, jump, and play.
And he did all of the above and more!

Weighing in at 60 lbs.
A bit over 8 months old.


Hank has come a long way with fetch!

Hank likes to dig, so Al and I took advantage
of Hank being down from his surery and filled
his holes, these of course are in the front yard.
Saturday he will be back out in the yard,
 we will see if our "little" project worked or will
 we have to get more soil to fill more holes?

He is a trooper and doing well!

Amy said he was the best puppy, stood like a statue
for his entire grooming!  So proud!
