Wow, went to the PO Box
and look what I had waiting for me!
In the beginning of the year, many people
on Facebook put out a "Pay it Forward"
challenge. Sign-up under someone and
then put the offer out on your page to the first
five people, who will then pay it forward too.
I signed up under Lindsay Ostrom, I shopped
at her shop, "Paper Rabbit" in Montrose, CA.
She has long since sold the shop and moved
to Northern California. We re-connected on
FB. So this is my surprise from Lindsay!
I feel very lucky to have received such
a beautiful gift. She asked me for a favorite
quote and this is what she made for me!
I will always cherish it, thank you Lindsay!

born to stand out" Dr. Suess
My five include, Treba, Brenda, Betsy,
Christy and Michelle. Looking
forward to surprising them...

Love waking up after it has
snowed. This was just a very light
dusting, but still very pretty.
Had a few errands to run.
Stopped near the library and snapped
a few photos of the river that
runs through Westport.
Yes, that is ice. Has not been
over freezing in eight days...
A bit bored, without much to do,
so stopped by the beach. Two guys
out flying kites on a cold Saturday
afternoon. The beautiful blue
skies save your sanity during
this cold, cold weather!
A bit of snow on the beach,
this always seems so funny to me.
Got a last minute call from Michael, he askes
us to meet him at Plan B Burgers.
Eric's family is in town.
Great surprise and now, not bored!

Al and I took a drive to Cabela's in
Hartford. In November the shelves
and racks had been completely full,
now, almost empty.
A light dusting of snow and
Hank can't wait to be outside.
He stayed out for 40 minutes
in single digit weather,
running his figure-eights
and playing with his toys!

Woke up to snow.
Hank's first paw prints of the morning.
Hank loves the snow!
First thing he does is sniff around,
stick his face in the snow and pull out
his toys and bones.
Actually, it is amazing how fast
he finds them all.
Here he is with his head in the snow.
