Day 330, October 30, 2013

The fall mornings are chilly,
just the way Hank likes them.

Neighbors and Newcomers of Westport
NYC trip to The Lower East Side.
Train to Grand Central,
Subway to Bleecker Street,
walk to Katz's,
walk to Tenement Museum.
Fun day!!!

This knishery began in 1910!

Oh, Katz's,
Pastrami on rye and potato knish,
heaven.

Twelve of us enjoying lunch.

It was better for Sally than it
was for us, but we still had fun!

Oh, the goodness!

We took the
"Shopkeeper Tour"
Our guide Adam was amazing!
I have now been on two tours
at the Tenement Museum,
still a few more to go...

Delancey and Orchard,
a whole lot of history in this
little corner of the world!

Adam, entertaining the girls.

Thanks Alex and Karen for arranging this
wonderful trip!

So many people,
so little space...
